Yeah... the Archie comics started off similar to the old cartoon, but eventually went in a different direction. In the cartoon, Raph found himself matching wits with Mona Lisa in one episode; fans kinda shipped the two of 'em together. In the comic book, Raph got a ninja wolf girlfriend.
