yes, I'll go there
I've been listening to Evanescence a little and I really like "hello".
I thought the line "Don't try to fix me, I'm not broken" fits well with both of them....
Dib... was put into the crazy house for boys for his relentless claims of there being an alien and an invasion and whatnot. After a few years, Dr. Membrane just couldn't watch anymore and had his poor, insane son compulsory hospitalized.
But Dib wasn't insane...
he became so while in the asylum, always confronted with his supposedly imaginary friends and foes, the impossibility of it all...
No-one listened while he cried and screamed at them to believe him
Zim, after trying and trying to please his Tallest, eventually hit their last nerve and they told him everything to finally get rid of him.
told him about his status as "exiled", as "defect" and most of all, that he had never been an invader at all.
They told him to stay on earth and never should dare show his face to them again unless he wanted to be terminated.
needless to say that this hit him quite hard
in the end, Zim did the only thing there was left for him to do and he went to get Dib
even though they were kind-of enemies, both knew very well they had no-one left but themselves.
Zim took Dib back to his base and they hid there, starting to live in secret, detatching themselves more and more from the outside world that had forsaken them.

Oh i dont know.. i dont have a uterus, and im still a sucker for them. Im the dragon who doesn't like watching the final episode in a series or reading the last page of a book cos I get depressed that i wont "see" the characters again and I hope they're doing ok
