It's good to hear from you! I have been very busy and a little distracted in recent times, but the inspiration is still going strong. In the last few weeks, I have found the drive to get more art done and here's the first of the fresh new work to be posted here! I plan to post some more art soon.

Ahaha, I can tottally relate to that, my year has been pretty hectic, only now getting back to the swing of things so to speak...

That tree took a little time to sketch out, and my goal was to make it look very ancient with a lot of character.

My friends, Magic Clam and Lorien077 do plan on adding color to this drawing. So, there will be one version of this piece with color pencils and another with markers. However, I imagine that it will take a fair amount of time for them to add the colors.

I tell you, it is a tragedy that your work doesn't have more views.
Your talent deserves much more attention than it gets.
In any case, this is a remarkable piece. Kaneshia looks absolutely stunning in that dress. The tree in the background, plus the lantern in the foreground, makes me picture a quiet evening out in the woods. With a girl like her, who could turn that down?

I greatly appreciate the kind words... I imagine the lack of views is partially due to the line art not standing out as a thumbnail. Perhaps color will help with that issue. Either way, it's more important that I'm having fun while drawing and I'm very grateful for those who also enjoy the work :)
