A simple drawing I wanted to do for a friend that I visited in NYC last October. Afi! He LOVES Spike from the new Pony series, so I wanted to try and draw his dragon character in that style.
Oh my gosh, the eyes are huge. It kinda throws me off just a bit. O_O
(I actually kind of find it difficult to replicate the Pony style in traditional media. Lack of colored lines or the super clean vector graphics can make a difference.)

YOu did a wonderful job on the dragon character.
Nice touch on the tummy pouch and the giant eyes XD.
Yea the MLP style is tricky in traditional media, you should check out Lauren Faust on DA and see how she does the traditional work. It looks so different than the vector style of the cartoon.
