**Ok making her my official fursona because I just really like her and stuff so. From now on, she's the head honcho.**
Been meaning to do this for ages.
Lucky here is sort of a second fursona of sorts. Unlike Zoe, who is a very metaphorical interpretation of my personality, I based Lucky off my own physical features; her colors are color-picked from my own hair and eyes and her body type is based off mine. To not sound too crazy, if I magically got turned into a dog, I suspect I'd look like her.
She's a conglomerate of many different breeds, mostly Otterhound crossed with German Shepherd with some Lurcher and Collie in the mix too. She's just a generic mutt, really. Big dog though, (about 26 inches at the shoulder and 115 lbs) and is generally slow and clumsy. Very quiet, very low-key, generally patient and willing to be pushed around but when she does snap she snaps violently. Lucky is generally shy though, and prefers to be by herself, a characteristically un-doglike trait. Behaves more like a small dog, as loud noises and strangers set off her anxiety (which generally includes lots of quivering and drooling). She very, very rarely barks. She's got a pretty poor sense of smell for a dog, but very good hearing and is a relatively good hunter - not squeamish about blood or anything. She generally has Loaf flush out the prey and then she will do the dirty work. Loves to chew on bones or sticks, can be a little overly mouthy.
So... yeah that's really all to her. if you have any questions I'd be happy to answer, of course. Need to draw a nice picture of her and Loaf.

Really cool character, I love simple fursonas that don't have like a ton of jewelry and weird markings. I totally respect people that want a fursona like that because of personal tastes, but I think most of them do it in some misguided attempt to be 'original' or represent their 'complex' personalities. Still waters run deep, you don’t have to have a thousand colors and a dozen striped and checkered accessories to represent your personality. My fursona’s just a scruffy wolfdog (he wears a chain too, by the way) and I’m proud that he looks like a dog you wouldn’t be surprised to meet on the streets. Anyway, I ramble, I love this character. Your lineart and coloring methods are gorgeous, as always.
I love these literal dogsonas~ I've never tried to make a straight-up 'fursona,' but I'm considering it since trying to use Ava as self-representational and then her be her own character at the same time is getting annoying, haha. I probably mentioned this whenever she first popped up on deviantArt, but I love Lucky's design so much. Wiry/curly fur for the win.The small lighter spot at the front of her chest is a nice touch too.
