And the non-backgroundy one. This is the type of commission I offer when I say 'one person, full body' such and so forth. Trying a few different things here...eyes, onesie styles, pullups per commissioners request. Turned out okies.

I didn't understand half of what you wrote, lol. For the shading, I simply put it over the color and use the multiply layer function. I dun know what anti-aliasing is o.o Been using the tablet more then the stroke bit, but I still use the pen tool for sharp lines and shapes.
Hmm I didn't really mean the shading (since I already do the same thing ... more or less) I was just talking about the teal and yellow borders around the characters here. The real question was, do you know how to anti alias that?
Since you apparently don't know what it means, I think you don't know how to... I tried anything but I didn't found a way to do that.
Basically, anti aliasing is what makes ... smoother edges instead of pixellated things.
For instance, in video games, when you activate the anti aliasing (AA) here's the difference: http://www.nvnews.net/reviews/xfx_g.....comparison.png (look at the edges)
Because, everytime I use the stroke tool, it makes pixelated and aliased edges.
