Mebbe I should have said "Trusty Dynax and telephoto lens." They're not human-socialised. It's a nature reserve, but a wolf enclosure. A lot more acceptable than a zoo, but essentially still a zoo. However, the pack within functions as such and they accept humans observing them from a distance.
I saw a TV program on the Yellowstone and they too have a Wolf preserve like that. Did you ever see the Disney movie 'Never Cry Wolf'?
