Carved from a shed white-tail deer antler.
Now you understand why I'm not a huge fan of antler. Fresh sheds don't do it as bad, but old sheds have hairline cracks in them. When you polish it, they become more pronounced. This can be a good or bad thing depending on what look you're going for. I personally like flawless finishes in my projects.

This all started with two cheap ukuleles. I wanted to put shell inlays in them, but I was having trouble carving it. It kept breaking apart when I would get down to the details. Annoying as shit.
I thought I would try bone for shits and giggles and found it not only did not break as easy, but it could hold infinite detail. To say the lest the ukuleles have since gone untouched.
It's fun to see a generally dull looking block of bone turn into any shape imaginable. Really the only limit to things you can make is the limits of your own imagination.
That and it's enjoyably easy. Like carving soap.

Very spiffy! Now carve more foxes. Foxes sell, always. Wolves too, but need foxes. Not that I like them personally (fox merchandise), but TONS of foxes out there, or folk who fancy foxes (the young gay kind), will fawn over your foxes. AND hand you cash for them. LOTS OF CASH.
You know what you doing... making foxes! Every day, make a fox. And the occasional GSD, wolf, etc :)

I'm working on it! I just got the antler quartered off and thought I would try my hand at a small detailed pendent. The wolf was the first one I drew, so it was the first one I made.
They'll be many foxes, but even if I put a pendent out every day, which is unlikely because I'm gone working all day, I don't know if I'll have enough stock for the con. Hell, I still need to get some pipes made up and a binder put together.
I think I'll just end up haveing to take commissions, and just put the few I have made up for examples.
