Okay, folks, here it is! The coup de grass. The piece de resistance! Who says a fox can't be the lead animal on a carousel? Hop up, take the reins, and hold on! Oh, for those that don't know, most traditional carousels have what is called the "lead horse". It "leads" the rest of the animals. Get it? It's usually more elaborately decorated and sometimes larger than the rest. Sometimes the lead horse is a lion. I think this fox fulfills the role of lead animal better
My most complex and time-consuming picture to date. Probably put about 18 hours of work into it over the span of 3 days. Oh, yes, my contract work floundered but it was a labor of love. I kept the trappings a tad conservative as I didn't want to over-do it. Inspired by this wonderful piece of art: http://egoraven.deviantart.com/art/.....ousel-55547903.
