You Were Close, Clarice
"Where are you, Dr. Lecter?"
Commission for cerberusderozier of her handsome Staffie once more in the role of Hannibal Lecter with Wielder playing the part of Clarice Starling. This is obviously the scene where he runs his hand through her hair while he's on the carousel as he taunts her on the phone.
Done on bristol board with copic markers, micron inks, india ink, acrylic paint, colored pencils, and gel pen.
And special thanks go out to quaylak who was kind enough to help me with Wielder's hand holding the cell phone. Thanks, lady!

Beautiful! You are such a master with markers! I love all the subtleties like on the clothing and fur, even the wooden flooring for the carousel <3
Just makes it even more wonderful to look at, I love drawings that are so beautifully detailed that you see something you didn't see before the first time. Fab facial expressions too.

Silence of the lamb's and Hannibal are my favorite movies, and you've done an amazing tribute to them thank you for sharing.
Also, your marker techniques leave me stunned! Are there any tips you could give to somone who's still developing skill with the medium?

Wow! The colors and the background and the and the and the...I'll stop before the broken record effect happens.
This is brilliant work, I like how it has a good story in the picture, and you don't even need to write anything, you just look at it, and you know. Especially if you've seen Silence of the Lambs before.
I also like his hand going through her hair, a nice touch at how her face could reflect what she might be feeling at that exact moment, just waiting for her to turn around.

Whoo! Lovin' that cellphone-wielding hand, lady! I just compared it to the initial sketch, and man, that looks fantastic now! Glad I could help and that you actually used my crazy bathroom photos, haha. This piece turned out fantastic. I was so excited to see how you'd do the background and all the colors and such. Keep up the gorgeous work, as always!
