Nupux come from a history of late evolutions, skewing through a combination of many known species to end with the sly creature we know today. As years have passed with these jigsaw like creatures, they have further evolved to the common world, and have so adjusted to countless different environments, including the hustle and bustle of a large city. Thanks to their quick learning and instinct driven curiosity, they can follow a large number of different life styles, some even finding a place among communities of other species.

With that though, they should not be treated without caution, since they are voracious, and often stick to their voracious eating style when hungry, or more concerning, for pleasure.

From Birth, Nupux are looked over by both parents, spending a good amount of time with, or in either parent as they occasionally switch to hunt for food if they need to, and since Nupux are able to control their digestive tract entirely, the infant is completely safe in their parent's belly.

As time passes for the young Nupux, they will start off with whole food very soon after birth, mostly sticking to rodents and small animals that they manage to catch or that their parent will swallow for them, often leaving the infant to eat their food in the parent's belly, since there wouldn't be much effort required to catch the small creature at that point.

After so long, the Nupux will be left to begin deciding its own life, be it to say with their parents, or begin adventuring. At this point, the claws would be developed enough to be used for defensive measures, but usually not able to create any strong chemicals for injecting targets. As the Nupux goes through life, and increases its list of different meals, its body will be able to further learn from its captured nutrients, learning to mimic the very DNA of the Nupux's prey.

Eventually, the Nupux would be old enough to breed, left on the choice of the Nupux's lifestyle to determine if courtship would be a priority. For those that have found a life among other creatures, they would occasionally decide to fall for a fellow member of their adopted group. For those Nupux that have increased their abilities to near extremes, have been heard to have the ability to turn another creature into a full blooded Nupux after a few injections, completely re-writing their DNA to that of their own.



Claws: The Nupuxs' Claws are meant for intimidation, and for injecting targets with a variety of combined chemicals in their system to provide an endless list of results, but have been more commonly seen to act defensively, or for pleasure purposes.

For the occasional Nupux that has been gifted with the rare ability over a form of 'hidden' magic, their claws could be used to create more drastic and untold results, unlike the natural Nupux, these select few could even enter a target's very soul and mind, but for this magic to remain effective, the Nupux must hunt out creatures commonly, even more if the creature is also gifted with magical properties.

No Nupux is born with any of the chemicals they acquire through life, instead being left for their body to learn them from the prey they swallow and digest, picking apart the very being of the swallowed prey as the Nupux's body works on trying to copy as much as it can. Eventually the Nupux will learn to think and go over its own list of learned chemical combinations, and create them instantly to be injected via their claws.
