Twenty-first in a series of comparative image charts. In honor of the Year of the Dragon, these are the best dragon examples I could find for the moment. These are predominantly Eastern dragon examples; I'm not very certain yet how to ID Western dragons on a consistent basis, because I believe they have many more variants than Eastern dragons.
I am more or less certain of the top row of 5, the first and third of the second row, and the fourth of the third row. Others examples may actually be rats ( combination of snake and cat ), or horse, or ox.
The facial structure of the cheekbones, most noticeable while smiling, the nose shape, the chin shape, and the slight dimples at the corners of the mouth during smiles are the characteristics to identify Asian dragons.
