Princess Luna loathes answering suits, having to deal with selfish nobles and lustful suitors. But she finds within that crop of slime and pestilence one pony that does not act like the rest. One pony tht seeks not royal favor, nor the hoof of a goddess, nor even the ironclad decision of an absolute ruler, but merely... the advice of another pony, for a painful situation.
Just a chance for me to use more English Renaissance Luna without having to contrive a way to get Bad Apple to Canterlot. And to use Fleur, because I like her. Plus Lime, the loyal maid.

Hehe. Indeed. The sex thing was basically the Elizabethan equivalent of saying banging, boning, humping, riding and et cetera. I remember Neighpon from a while back in another fic. It's quite clever.
The real amusing and covert reference is, actually, the reference to aubergine. That's Luna's pet name for Bad Apple's mare-pleaser :)
