Ear design is a bit off, she was supposed to be a caracal when I originally did the lineart but I felt like turning it into my character instead.

A friend at FC discovered a skull shape inside the necklace, which I think is awesome!

Done with acrylics on illustration board.

Everything about this is awesome, more artistic than the average FA pic, rather than just a drawing.

yeah, your friends right with the skullshape.

the style kind a reminds me of Alfons Mucha. Like this one very much.

Sometimes I wonder how people manage to use Acrylics like this

Mucha is my hero.. ;P
As for the acrylics in this way, lots and LOTS of water. I use them more like watercolors. I just don't get how to get good detail while using them when they're still thick.

is there then a big difference between the acrylics with water and real watercolor?

'cause watercolor is my favorite media.

It's less forgiving when you start layering too much. When it builds up enough it starts getting this slippery shiny texture non diluted paint gets and then more watery washes kind of slide off it... and then it gets messy. D: I do prefer working with watercolors.
