Yin Yang Dogs -Rottweilers - Playbow
Another in my series of yin-yang dogs, the rottweiler!
Rotties are such fantastic, endearing dogs. I have yet to meet one that deserves the rep they seem to always get.

I could tell an irritating story about some people near our previous home, about a thoroughly dog-clueless couple who'd decided they wanted an Anatolian Shepherd. Nice dog? Absolutely awesome in every sense. Under control? Oh gawd no. Would go for Mischa on sight, even at long range, and run over and beat him up, leaving poor Mischa so traumatised that he wouldn't willingly go near the site of such an ambush for weeks afterwards.
The irritating part of the story starts when we started trying to communicate with these people to get them to change the way they were managing their dog. Suffice it to say that the problem didn't end until we got the local authorities involved.

I'm really sorry to hear that. :< I wish puppy classes at least were mandatory for dog ownership - regardless of the breed! Even for people who know how to train dogs it's really important for socialization - and if you don't have time for that, you certainly don't have time for a puppy.
I'm slowly working my way through the breeds - about 30 done, 130 left to go! I love sighthounds and the next one in that group will be borzoi, then probably afghan, but wolfhounds or deerhounds would be neat to do! So I'm not sure when I'll get to them (unless I get commissioned specifically to do them) but they are on the list!
This is so sweet, we have a Rottweiler x doberman rescue, he is a big mush and snuggles up with out three cats at night.

I LOVE these designs and am excited to hear you plan on doing more breeds still. :) Hoping for some pit bulls eventually! ;) (The trouble with dog people - everyone is a fanatic about their breed!)
Will be amazing to see these in glass too - good luck getting your studio set up. :)
