Lord Demik is not a normal virus type, he actually stays true to his viral nature, embraces it as a gift.
A remnant of excess data that made contact with the original Black Wargreymon, producing this much more sinister incarnation. Lord Demik started out paranoid, afraid of being picked on and such for his weakness. So he went on a spree of infecting other digimon to work under his command [hence the name Demik, short for Pandemic at his rate of infection], or stealing their code by absorbing them, adding onto his. He only specifically targets certain digimon which he feels could work better as a supplement or servant. Virus types have a better chance of resistance against his influence, but if one proves to be too difficult to infect, he attempts to absorb their code, adding onto his immunity to infection. Over the years, he has grown increasingly powerful from all that he absorbed, which has made him extremely difficult to kill, as he always seems to return shortly after being destroyed, and has quite an army of loyal followers.

Aside from being evil, a narcissist, and a perfectionist, he is strangely fairly regal, behaves like a King, often formally introducing himself when he makes an appearance, and never strikes women.
He -mostly- is regarded to have a long fuse, sometimes he will have outbursts of anger. He subtly despises imperfection, but oddly enough, is somewhat respectful toward anyone who seeks to better themselves, which he often uses to his advantage to "guide" them.
Sometimes, he doesn't even need to make physical contact to infect others, his intellect and cunning is just enough to cause the strongest willed of creature to side with him, or at least plant the seed of doubt within their subconscious and in time let it blossom into full infection.

Like his original, Demik despises cowardice, which is why he himself usually goes into combat against his targets rather than send servants out to attack for him. He often employs his servants to act as distractions, depending on the objective. Another trait that separates him from most villains is that he bears an honor code, he never attacks unarmed opponents, or strikes someone when their back is turned. He usually only applies this with worthy opponents.

Like Ricky, his bonding of organic and computerized data is such, that he can even use his abilities outside the digital world without error, and slip in and out at free will, but even for Demik, such use will leave him exhausted afterward. Demik however, has acquired so much data, he is able to briefly zip in and out of cyberspace to any place on Earth, so in a nutshell, he can teleport.
His abilities also include the capability of hacking and interacting with electronic devices in the real world, he can even simply wipe a computer of it's data or download it to his own subconscious.
