I've been playing alot of Super Mario 3D Land. It's a fun game, although too short. There are definitely alot of things borrowed from Super Mario Bros. 3. One example being this guy, Boom Boom. I have to admit I find Boom Boom very cute. I he is extremely easy to beat, but nonetheless adorable.

futonmania gave me the Sai program. So I've been spending all day trying to get the hang of Sai. I must admit it's better then Photoshop for the lines can actually be drawn smoothly. In this picture I was trying a more simplified and quick style. I'll probably end up using this simplified style instead of cel-shading for commissions.

You did a lovely job capturing Boomboom's bulky form in its entirety
His wide dense feet, his huge strong arms. That big sharp-toothed muzzle. Goodness gracious it's a fantastic picture overall that just captures the boy all too well <3
