Making anything for yourself for FWA?

10 back ordered furs came in this week at CRS craft. So lots of projects I had on hold are now in full swing overnight.

Fox fur was on backorder for 4 months. I was lucky to buy the last that White Wolf had to hold me over.

Yup, I know the drill. All my smooth on orders came in tonight so I will be pulling 2 back to back all niters. I might stream if you want some 'not really here but feel like someone else is hanging out' company :D

Jesus, 4 months? X.X Next time throw a message my way, I've got 4 tubs of fur that aren't being used for anything right now.

I can skype with you, I will be working all night myself.

As for fur, I would have asked publicly had I not had almost a grand tied up in things I had already ordered. I also had no idea it would take this long.

Ha, more people pulling all-nighters for suit work? Unfortunately for me I had the same idea. XD

Honestly, with my ADD as bad as it is, I can only work at night. When I used to try and work during the day I would take "field trips" to any place I could. I had gone as far as Disney, and thrift store shopping as "inspiration". That didn't last too long, as I started naturally working later and later anyway. I guess there is nothing open, nobody to talk to , and nothing to go to if it's 3 AM. It leaves me only my work to keep me stimulated. I have to tell you, it works great.

-nod- I feel ya there! My boyfriend works a night shift and since I'm not employed I just sleep the same schedule. It's definitely done wonders for my productivity. Though I still take internet "field trips." XD Go to check my email and somehow end up on Stumble three hours later watching cat videos. I think I've exhausted my interests on the internet, though. Now I just refresh FA every few minutes.

Also out of curiosity, do you airbrush the tape with the markings?

I just copy/pasta-ed this, as somebody asked the same question.

I like to color coat my patterns so I don't get confused what side I am working with, or what color the fur should be.

Huh I've not seen that done by anyone else. Fantastic idea. XD

Dude, that's exactly how I work, too. O_o I am way too distracted in the day with life things, so I tend to hole up myself at night when everybodys gone and asleep.

WHY is white fur such an issue? Seems to be an issue for like a year now (I hear rumor of raw material supply issues?) I feel like I should just order bolts of the stuff... but it costs soooo much upfront to buy 15 yard bolts and then you have to store it and ... blech
