If wanted to use the Space wolf codex, i am not sure about this, but you may be able to yse wolf guard with jump packs... I am not really sure, I havent looked at my space wolves codex in a while...
And yeah, well, the Chaos space marine codex is horrible at the moment...
Hopefully it isn't much more of a wait for a new Chaos codex...

It's a full year before chaos comes out I believe. but regarding your question. Yes, you can take wolf guard as your jump infantry, but if you are going to do that. you might as well make them terminators for the same points and get better base gear. +2/+5 with power weapons is a better point cost value than +3/0 and an extra 6" of movement.
And yes I agree the current chaos codex is crap, but thats why im still using the older version and only against my old friends who don't mind me using it.
