I came across the 'comfort food' expression and somehow thought of tea. Why?

My Dad has always had a habit of drinking tea. And I enjoyed drinking it with him. We had this old kitchen table, I used that spotted cup (I was obsessed with Disney's '101 dalmatians' when I was little)... and Dad was just there. Telling me something. Or, in this case, encouraging me to try something new.

I don't drink black tea anymore, much less horribly sweetened, like I used to. And I don't see Dad that often anymore... But drinking tea together is still our tradition of sorts. And it's something I cherish.
