Relying upon comments to fuel your ego to draw is pointless.
If you're going to waste time expecting others to fill you with praise just so you can have some semblance of self worth, stop now. You should be drawing for yourself, not to get attention.

Do not draw because you wish praise from others. Draw because -you- desire to. This is the basic idea behind all artists. If you cannot do this, you are not drawing for a good enough reason.

There's no point to that. It doesn't help the core issue: That you're not drawing because you want to, you're drawing because you want others to want you to. It's a fundamental issue. You'll never progress as an artist unless -you-, the artist, want to.

The trick with getting comments is I think is that you speak the viewers directly which you have now. And also that you answer all the comments to get them. ^^
