Werewolf: the Apocalypse 20th Anniversary Edition banner
White Wolf Game Stuidos/CCP is releasing a 20th Anniversary edition of "Werewolf: the Apocalypse".
If you were a fan of Werewolf: the Apocalypse back in the 90s and the 2000s, you might be interested to know that they are currently doing Open Development for W20.
http://whitewolfblogs.com/w20/ is the current location for the W20 development blog, but you can also check out the White Wolf forums at http://forums.white-wolf.com/defaul.....forum&c=10 to stay up-to-date on the discussions and know when you can pre-order the book.
They have already asked our input on the 13 Tribe paintings that Ron Spencer will be doing, and asked about our thoughts on such things as Abilities, Backgrounds, Gifts, Rites and Totems, with more to come, I'm sure!
If we use V20 (Vampire: the Masquerade 20th Anniversary Edition that came out in the fall of 2011), they will continue to show their progress and ask for input into May, and take pre-orders for a $100 limited edition version that will be delivered in September. They will likely sell the 530 page PDF for about $30, and the physical Print On Demand will vary between $50 and $70, give or take.
So, yeah... 2012 will bring about the Apocalypse. WEREWOLF: THE APOCALYPSE (20th Anniversary Edition)!
So if you want to get involved in changes to the mechanics, story, or the likes, now's the time. If not, keep an eye on the White Wolf site and pre-order, or get your copies when they're available!
I created this graphic (along with an icon which I may or may not be using at the time you read this), along with some other banners to use on the net using CorelDraw X4. I found the fonts for the text and used the W from a "Claws" font, but created the 20 myself.
Other banners and such can be found on my Facebook page here:

That is correct. The company that gave you Eve Online (CCP) purchased/merged with White Wolf several years ago. They've been developing a "World of Darkness" MMORPG for a few years, which will hopefully be released in a few more years. It will be mostly "Vampire: the Masquerade" based, but if it goes well, they have left the door open for other denizens of the World of Darkness (i.e., Werewolf: the Apocalypse, etc.) You will actually start as a human and can function as a normal person, or find a Vampire to ghoul you, or become embraced and become a member of the Clan. Apparently it will be difficult to kill other PCs, but it will be possible to cause a Final Death of a character (diablorie, and perhaps other means.) There will be several cities that can be controlled, and positions such as "Prince" will be social roles that can only be attained by social structures (meaning you can't just kill the Prince and call yourself "Prince.")
Unfortunately, in October, CCP decided that it needed to re-focus on its primary product and fired a bunch of folks, including many of the White Wolf staff so that it could focus on Eve and it's other "dumb" product. This caused some problems with the shipping of some of the pre-ordered books (mostly those in bulk-orders overseas) and put a hic-up with some of the products on the line.
However, things continue to move forward and they are putting out products for both CWoD and NWoD, as well as Aberrant and other game lines they still produce. :)
So keep your eyes on White Wolf (www.white-wolf.com) and keep up to date with what's going on. :D
