Astonishing how bland and unsaturated the colours look like on my actual screen, yet how bloody VIVID and ALIVE they look on the tablet's puny 800x600 touch extravaganza. Weird. Makes all my mistakes more visible on this piece.

Anyway, on to the formalities.
Perhaps my first -serious- attempt at digital painting, and between the start and the finish, I did a couple other cheap things. I learned a lot, too, between start and finish.
Done for  birdybirdbird and I took my bloody time, too. The gryphon was sketched and inked, but I inked so sloppily, there is nothing left of the lineart layer, which I pretty much replaced with the image itself, freeing it of lineart.
He wanted an image of a gryphon form for his character, thus I gave him this! I hope he likes it. Or else. Heh.

While the entire image's hue used to be bluish, it's all purple, and I'm very very irritated by that. It's like having a picture scanned and it turns out all shit...

Okay, time for me to fix more stuff. I should be careful as to how things are to be done next. I've been proven that my tablet's screen cannot be trusted...
