P.S. Yeah, the spectacles are amazing! (That's the European word for glasses, right? I'm from Indianapolis, Indiana in the U.S.) Funny thing is, that's almost EXACTLY what my glasses look like!

Wow, I thought Americans used the word "spectacles" more. Apparently not. I'm from the UK and I've always said glasses :) I can't speak for the rest of Europe though!

I think Americans used to use the word "spectacles" back in the late 1800s and early-mid-1900s, but as time went on, we sort of developed our own lingo until we talked just like we do today.
