Cerberus is a being from the Metaverse whose goal is to travel from world to world, corrupting it's inhabitants and draining away its color and liveliness, until all that remains is a planet of mindless, soulless slaves. Though technically a three headed being, he's able to remove and replace any of his heads, each of whom have a distinct personality and set of abilities; Id, a feral, aggressive beast, Ego, a suave, persuasive, and almost surpernaturally manipulative face for the trio, and Superego, a mysterious force able to alter the mind and realities of any who let him.
