God this took forever! But the end result looks pretty good to me. Couldn't do a fancy backround since I dont have CS2 on my desktop yet cause I'm a bum, but I think Alias did ok for now.
EDIT: I think I rushed it just a tad- some of the linework is more spotty than I originally thought and some of the painting is off- as well as his paws. I'll have to fix that.
Me and my hyena! <3 I still have some editing to do since I colored out his paws wrong, but that's an easy fix.

That's really cute! And even if you didn't do a fancy background, you gave the image some treatment that I think works even better than having a full-blown background - it reminds me of them laying on the beach at sunset or the like. Anyway, the two of you look really cute together! *hugs*
