At last, photographic (almost) proof that Coyote is still out there! It's obvious what's happened, if you think about it. You see, the Northwest used to be Raven's territory, until Wolf was hunted out of it by Man and Coyote moved in. Now poor Raven is reduced to fetching sugar for the lazy Trickster. :)
Ah-HA!! I finally have Blotch figured out.. Blotch is a lousy artist. Couldn't draw a picture to save a life. What Blotch does is sneak out and photograph real occurances, and just add some filters to make it look artsy-fartsy.. Yup! I know it.. The real art in Blotch's work is finding those Anthros in the first place to photograph..
That's really neat! I love the expression on his face... he looks so sneaky. Nothing like a little Starbucks in the morning to get one going...
Why did you pick that name for the title? I'm stuck trying to figure out what meaning it has towards the picture... maybe because he's portrayed through the picture to be a so-called 'wicked' person (because of the back of tricks and the crow and all of the other gadgets he has on) and the coffee is keeping him awake... *blushes*... or maybe I'm completely off...

It's a wonderful piece. I'm simply amazed with your painting skills and can only hope to reach this sort of skill level with time.
It did have spiritual vision for me... until I saw the starbucks.
Then again, it draws in, for me, that some of us would rather follow our ancient ways, rather giving into new beliefs... But it doesn't hurt for us to enjoy what the world offers.
Despite everybody sharing the same planet, it is hard for some people to be accepted for their ways even though they can blend into modern society.
I'll sotp blathering now.

Absolutely love it. The scene fits Coyote perfectly, down to the cup of Dunkin Donuts brand Vanilla Chai. :p
The pair both look worn out--and I can certainly understand why. The title's been my personal motto for as long as I can remember.
An utterly wonderful piece, you two. Thank you.

I love all of the details, and the juxtaposition between the modern and the "traditional". It shows that you had a real connection with this piece. Congrats upon it!
I like the little bottle cap. It adds that little bit of color is like finding a little treasure.. even though it's just "junk".
Always wonderful looking at your artwork. :D

i think i must say that out of all your pictures this one caught my eye the most. This is a wonderful example of your amazing talent and imagination. Weather u intended to or not this made me think of a modern day "Coyote the great trickster" from Indian folklore this is truely wonderful.
Beautiful! That's a Coyote for ya :3 First thing I thought of when I saw the bird with the sugar was the book A Fine and Private Place by Peter Beagle, the same guy who wrote The Last Unicorn. The book involves a talking raven who brings food to a man who lives in a graveyard and speaks to ghosts.
