It was really easy, I promise! I sketched the image, then using the pen tool and a 4 pixel hard brush, inked the body and mane/tail on a separate layers. After coloring, I tweaked the line work to color it. Its really simple! I can't do anything more complicated XD

for that i usually spend like 3-4 hours to do, that's why i stopped using lines, my artwork it's not the same

what kind of program do you use?

Photoshop CS3. And yeah, inking with the pen tool can take a while, especially if it isn't something you're not used to. I only learned in the last year or so how to do it and I've been using PS for 10 or so years. This DID take me a while to ink, about 2 ish hours. Inking always takes time and I am much more confident with this way than I was freehand.
