Just 'cause Naga's are a semi-Japanese beast, I thought I'd doodle my Naga form in the paintchat ^^ It got a bit of attention, so I labelled it with japanese too :3 The Japanese is simply "Ranger Naga" ^^

Nagas are always interesting. Love the Japanese there. >.>;;; Not like I could ever read it without the subtitles though, d'oh.

I was learning Japanese 4 years ago at school for 3 years X3 Forgot most of what I knew, but luckily still remember how to at least READ it X3 Just translating it is a chalenge still

Lol, I couldn't even read it I'm sure, other languages arn't my forte, d'oh, still cute picture though.

Always wondered what it'd be like having the lower body of a snake. :P Would probably make driving and a few other things hard to do, hehe.

Er, there's nothing Japanese about nagas. They are 100% Indian. Even when they got brought to China in Buddhist texts, they were syncretized/translated into Chinese dragons/long, so they never made it to Japan as nagas at all.

Eh, they always seemed Japanesey to me. I know there was Indian heritage behind them, but ah well :3 Still fun to doodle

Er... Wouldn't Rangaro Naga be in Katakana? o_o Hiragana's for Japanese based words, and Katakana's for foreign words.

Also: Naga's are reaaally hawt X3

As far as I determined in the Chat I was in, as long as it's obvious it's a name, it doesn't really matter X3

Hehe, cute :3 However you could probably skip the "lu" in your name and add an extension while writing it in katakana :3

Actually, that's a "ru" :3 All together, its "rangeru" :3 That's at least how these Japanese friends wrote it X3

Oh, I know it can be pronounced both ways, I learned from a native speaker :3 That's just how I was taught to write it in english characters (I forgot the japanese worde for that XD)Those sets of characters are pronounced with a combination of a "R" and an "L" sound :B
