This Monday we practiced for a big meeting. My boss was very nervous and so was I.

English is funny. There are so many ways to write a sentence, even if you don't change any words.

My favorite example:

1. The panda eats shoots and leaves.

2. The panda eats, shoots and leaves.


In sentence 1, the panda is eating bamboo, but in sentence 2, the panda eats something, fires a gun, and the walks away. The only difference between those two sentences is the comma that comes after 'eats.' It makes a big difference in meaning, huh?

Oh, and good work with capitalizing the word 'Monday.' Even I was corrected by the computer when I tried to leave it uncapitalized.
