<3 I made a doll!
Been making a lot lately secretly, but this guy came out so cutely I had to share! I haven't made him clothes yet but he's getting a cute male kimono-type robe. I know this style is really common, (my mom made me ones like him when I was little) so I'm not stealing anyone's ideas. Though I've been paranoid/hence the lack of sharing pictures of my dolls and felted critters.
This is a weird photo, but it's hard to get clear shots that show everything well! I'll post another pic or so of his CUTE FACE augh he was so fun to paint!
Oh! and this ISN'T sculpted with polymer/sculpty! It's made with "cold porcelain" I found some by Amaco in a little tub at Michaels. It's kinda fun to use! and he's unbreakable. :D

Awh thanks so much! I'll admit you were one of the people who inspired me to get back into making little dolls <3
It's really weird stuff! I kinda feel like making a review since I've rarely/never seen anyone on fa use it before. It's a hard, cold clay that's kinda plastic and dries REALLY quickly. But if you keep your hands/it moist it'll stay good for a long time. And it allows details wonderfully! Also is really hard to squish, unlike polymer! But easy to manipulate! Weird but fun!

Wow you did an incredibly amazing job on this doll. The perfect blend of real and cartoony! It looks so squishy and huggable. ;u;
It's probably pretty obvious that I'm a fan of sculpted plushies in general, but I'm in love. x3
And don't worry about showing! Even if someone does say it's their idea, other people have had it before too. I wouldnt' mistake your style for anyone else's that I know, so everything's fine.
I love seeing other peoples' work, so it would make me sad if someone as talented as you hid your awesome stuff because of a reason like that~ <3

(repeating a comment I left! hope you don't mind! :D) I found them at walmart but I've seen them at craft stores! They're little bubbles/dew drops! teeny plastic discs, perfect for clay stuffs!
If you check out the craft section, or like, where you find stickers and scrapbooking supplies there's all sorts of GREAT things for eyes! metallic Brads can work too! And if you're careful you can paint or marker the pupils in :D I just forgot to with this guy!
