The title Ariouth is, in short, a unique title bestowed upon the most magically gifted individual of her society within a given era. Once found, preferably in childhood, the future Ariouth is groomed to be his/her race's champion, which is then bound, even after death, to be called upon to serve as a military leader/champion in times of need.

Imagine if, say the King Arthur legend was true, and England could raise him from the grave to serve her during times of strife.

From here, the Ariouth is kept in a special tomb after death, to be resurrected when needed, or if a suitable replacement is found.
