Personal - King Without a Crown

'He never thought it could be true...he never believed what the others told him. He had lived in the city of Gauth all his life, he had never even been near his own kind before - Gauth was all he knew, and now these other Dragons, these other Dragons who had just found him, were praising him and putting all of their hopes in him...'
I hate to blow my own horn...actually I don't. But I'm actually really, really skilled at ballpoint pen and traditional sketches. I just never take the time to prep them like this and upload them...usually because I'm disappointed at how much of my shading that the scanner eats, homnomnom. >.<
So I thought a portrait would turn out nice...lots of details that my scanner might not eat. I did some, but the awesomeness is there, my friends, it's there...
Abdulaziz, aka Skeezit portrait! I already did the shaded version of him...and him yawning, so here he is chilling again.
And I'm starting to build a story around him...and a few other characters I'm concocting up - I'm having fun with it! I'm combining my loves of dragons, religion, and sci-fi into one awesome thing... Not saying that I won't be doing art of my other chars like Idracil and Chris! Refining this/these style/s so I can do my other characters in this style too! :)
So would you guys like to see more of a story about Skeezit? And/or would you like to see more of my sketches prepped up nice like this?
