Cast of The Space Gypsy Adventures

These are some official and updated designs of the core cast of characters for The Space Gypsy Adventures. I've been meaning to get round to this for ages - I am pleased with how they have come outy ^^. My favourite ones to do were Rekki and Bones, though I enjoyed drawing them all.

This is for a project run by TJ Askew that I am currently working as lead artist on. It is a series of kids' radio serials broadcast on UK hospital radio stations ^^. We're hoping more will come of it though.

Oh thanks :) I try to play stuff that isn't too avante-garde so I don't alienate everyone :P Jimmy was a fun character to draw, and one of the few I had no original references from the show's creator himself - so it was up to me to introduce him, essentially :)

It's funny, Space Gypsy actually did have a breif appearence in a comic strip in a local newspaper in Cumbria in the Eighties. At the moment it's on hospital radio, but we're hoping it will evolve into something bigger like an actual animated TV show hopefully.

I'm guessing "Fluff" is an ironic nickname like "Tiny". And the motorcycle can fly in outer space.

I never gave that much thought. As far as I am aware Fluff is her real name and the bike can't fly in space =P
