Just another bit of background for my Traveller campaign starship book.
The remaining vessel, Ginga, is in bad condition, but still works. With over 5k cargo, its still a relatively valuable asset to the Directorate when it decides to hire her.
Basic stats:
30,000 dtons, Jump 2 (x2), 1G acceleration
Model 5 Computer x3
1x 50Dton Partical Accelerator Bay (1 factor 7 battery).
8x 50Dton Missile Bays (8x factor 7 batteries)
10x Triple Beam Laser Turrets (10x factor 3 batteries)
3x 1,000 Dton large cargo shuttles (pictured), very similar to those of the Lev Berg's auxilliary shuttles.
20x 20Dton launches for away missions, use as lifeboats, minor cargo runs, crew transfer, etc.
Cargo: 5,300 Dtons, +2,550 Dtons on board cargo shuttles, for a total of 7,850. This is more than 6,000 Dtons less than the Tokyo class originally could carry before this refit.
On board fuel scoops for frontier refuelling from gas giants (only - the Mamiya is not capable of planetary landings, though technically it could float long enough to evacuate, if it ditched into an ocean miraculously without breaking apart.
On board purification plants require 2 whole days to process hydrogen scooped in this fashion - though it should have enough fuel for a single Jump 2 in about 24 hours.
Crew Complement for Colonial runs:
Bridge: 12
Engineering: 40
Maintenance: 6
Gunners: 7
Flight: 58
Security: 15
Command: 23
Stewards: 6
Medical: 25
Passengers: (waking) 30
Low Berths: 4,000
