The Payment for the Group picture is now over, everyone that has paid till now is listed in the journal and will be on the picture.
Unfortunately we took too long gathering the money, so we need to wait till the first of march. But this gives us enough time to let you figure out who wants to be on the picture with who.
It might be best to post your wishes here, so necro doesnt have to look through the whole journal to figure that out!
We are looking forward to this picture already and we are as much excited as you are ;)

Ooh tough choice heh since I entered a second on behalf of my friend, who has a similar character to mine :P

Sorry for my lack of communication. At the beginning, I was excited to get in on this group picture. I recently lost my job, though. So suddenly it's not in the budget anymore, which made me depressed. Hopefully there will be another opportunity like this one in the future, when I am in a better financial state. I hope the image turns out well and is enjoyable for all parties, and I can't wait to see it when it's done!

Well, this sucks... I wasn't even aware until now that money was being collected. I had $18, easily, but was away at FC when this announcement was made.
My FA messages tend to back up for weeks. Can you send FA notes next time or e-mail? I'm really upset that I missed out on this. I was really looking forward to it.

Well, I don't mean message everyone in the group. I meant message everyone that was told they got a slot. That's all. Even if that's 100 people, then yes. I would message 100 people because they were slated for it and told they would be in it.
If I would have got an FA note, I would have seen that a lot sooner than the blanket art submission that was posted. Art messages back up too quickly. I watch way too many artists and average well over 100+ pieces of art a day because of that. I was also at FC when this was posted. I didn't intend to go through all the art submissions until I got home and even that took awhile because I had to go right back to work following the vacation. When I finally spotted it, the window had opened and closed before I felt I had a chance to respond and send in my share. I was checking FA from my phone while I was at the con, but I was only able to really keep up with latest 30 comments, journal replies, shouts, and FA notes. Even from my phone, I could have sent the $18 through a PayPal app, instantly, if I had only received some sort of more personalized direct message.
All I want to complain about is that I feel the art submission as a means of communicating with people who believe they are involved in a project, is the wrong way to go about sending important notifications like this to the people involved. In my case, it made a world of difference to me and left me out when I easily could have paid on the spot, even from my phone... if I only knew.
It's all right, though... too late now. Maybe I'll try again in the future.

We used to write Journals about that, but even less people read through Journals. We write the Journals and even announce "Hey, we wrote a Journal" with a Submission, we can't send a note to every single member of the group about important notifications, that are more then 150 notes.
It is a bit unfortunate that you were at FC when it was posted, but i think we can't announce it even more obviously.
If you want to take care about that and send notes to everyone, for such events, you sure can do if you wish to! ^^
