This picture is a re-edit of its original image called, "I Heart Mac". Few reasons as to why. The initial image was a commission. One of my Odesk clients wanted a pin-up of herself with her Macbook Pro. While I had release permissions (the clients on Odesk absolutely love release forms for the most part and this one didn't use one on me), I felt uneasy using her face in it. The second reason why it was changed was on part because on Odesk, it's common for clients to pay after image completion. Lucky me, I got the tardiest commissioner this side of the universe, and if she won't contact me or pay up, then bleep her, I'm doing whatever I want with the image. (To say the least, I'm thankful that my commissioners on FA are absolute punctual sweeties.)
Thankfully she was dark skinned, and likes computers. Even better for me, I actually have a character who is dark skinned, and loves computers. Translation: Lots of editing and color changes later, I decided to make this a cute pro hacker pin-up for Dee (DW, also referred as the human offset of my Mewthree, Demisewan). Fast picture on my part, and loads of pink. Was not going for uber polish here, just some sort of caricature which in the end turned into actually a rather different character image. Also is a .png with a partially transparent background, first time ever on my account.
