Anthem is a ooak (one of a kind) kirin sculpture.
He was made from polymer clay over wire and foil. He has a body length of about 6 inches (measured chest to bum) and is about 8 or 9 inches tall to the top of his horns. He was painted in acrylics and his hair is tibetan lamb fur. He has light brown resin eyes that were inset into the clay.
I actually sculpted Anthem a long time ago, right around the same time I made Aphelion. However I was having problems getting his colours right so never finished him. The red and gold looked good in my head but looked ugly when I went to paint it. However when I was working over Christmas I decided to work on him again, and I like how he turned out. I wanted to do a kirin with more oriental-themed colours.
He's been sold. Thanks for looking!
