So I think I have gone far enough with the Martail design to make a reference sheet for them!
This is pretty much the basics of a Martail, for now. They can come in male or female, big or small, buff or skinny, lots hair/fur or not, so don't think that all of them have to look like the way I drew them on the sheet. This was just the bare basics to share.
(hopefully I didn't spell anything wrong on it)
They have digitigrade feet now =w=

If you would like to make one, you are more than welcome to. I would like to see when you are done, however :D

OH, like at the head the markings are read and it RAINBOWS down to the feet, but the innards at the feet are read and RAINBOW up to the head :0

Their ears are always a kinda mix of bear/hyena, so turning them into completely different kinds of ears wouldn't really work
but they would have varied ears if you wanted to put chips in them or make them a little deformed ya know?

I am not sure! I guess it's up to the person drawing it :o I figure it would be more fun to let it have a tongue and have it salivate, but it wouldn't have a throat or anything so idk!

I love this idea. It's like a rat (furless tail and random body form) and a hyena had sex and this was their mutant freak baby! I LOVE it. I should consider making one. Damn awesome idea.

You tease! I have to pin down patterns and coloration and I'll have to definitely get one. I'm pondering a sort of lichtenberg figure for designs and purple. Not sure of base color.

Base colors can be any natural mammalian color, like browns, whites, yellows, grays, and so forth :O You can have more bizzare colors like grayish blue, or earthy green, so long as the base colors aren't saturated and impractical, that's for the markings XD

I was thinking purple for the markings and a sort of lichtenberg figure design, AKA lightning IRL, and I wasn't sure what the colors were going to be for the base colors. I was thinking something dark to contrast the brightness of the purple.

I see what you mean, and I agree a dark color would help contrast those markings :O I'd suggest looking at wild animals and seeing what kind of markings and colors they have. I am thinking a dark steal blue, but that's just me

I've actually found a great imitation from mink that is a great color for the base color. Note me for the prices for your commissions and stuff. I'm interested in a commission for my character.
