My First Commissioned Landscape watercolor. A nice challenge with all the different planes of view. This picture is from a wonderful hike on a typical Montana day, Sunny one second pouring rain the next. Luckily our hike was perfectly timed and we avoided the rain with some awesome sunshine and fossil hunting.

Red Dome is a dome shaped of uplifted Triassic mud stone or something like that right outside of Bridger MT. A great place to start fossil hunting for invertebrates above the red mud.
I always find bivalves and conglomerates of sea junk from ancient oceans that covered the landscape.
