It’s been a while since I last posted! Since then, there isn’t all that much new about Dragoncraft, but I’ve improved speed a LOT since the last time, and at least there is a new grass system included.

Life busyness is the biggest reason for the slowness of progress, also I foolishly decided I needed to learn c++.
Another reason is that I’m trying to convert Dragoncraft over to use Irrlicht (http://irrlicht.sourceforge.net/) as renderer.
I’m hoping for a speed gain over MiniB3d (what Dragoncraft uses now), once I optimized it, but I’m having my doubts… If nothing else I’ll have some more versatility.

Yes, it works, except some small and non-vital bugs. And being very slow.
And I limited it since in the final game, you're not supposed to be able to do it that far. If it means that much to you I'll add a key combo that enables it, but expect bugs (chunks too far away from you not being updated).

actually building lairs DOES sound like fun to me. as for raiding villages, well you don't have to burn the women and children (i hope). but flying off with a cow or two, or a dozen sheep, without getting killed in the process, i assume the villagers will have repeating crossbows and not just pitchforks.
