Well gosh it's been like HALF A YEAR since I've done anything resembling a Badger Loser comic, so here, have an actual Badger Loser comic!

The term Luddite itself is interesting. The original Ludd was at the head of a movement that, basically, wanted the introduction of new machines to be done with sufficient time involved for retraining workers onto them. This got propogandized and twisted out of control into "hate technology".
Ludd and his followers weren't a religious movement nor did they hate technology nor did they really want to get rid of it, so not really. The Amish essentially have a strict set of rules they live under to avoid the "evils" of technology, if I understand it rightly. Conversely, the Luddites simply wanted the phase in of technology to take the workers into account and not just be a fast-as-possible drive for profit.

Reminds me of the time that a few of my college classmates opened windows media player and connected to my machine due to windows updates turning on photo, video, music sharing on my laptop. The porn they found actually mostly caused excited awkward questions rather than distaste. Have to hand it to college kids, they are open minded.
