Oh yes... I must say, for all the trouble and expense this mistake has caused you, it was well worth the trouble to get it back.
This is simply stunning, not just because it's a raptor (but that helps!) All the detail in her scales and feathers and smooth, lifelike shading makes me want to keep staring at it, like... 'Me Gusta'. ^..^
Your first raptor? That's really hard to believe that as you did her perfectly. Now I've seen a lot of raptors, but this is one very beautiful, sexy raptor. It looks like you nailed every little anatomic detail that makes a perfect raptor, all in one drawing. Even the pose is elegant and luring (it reminds me of http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2207594/ which is a fave of mine). I think whatever you've learned while doing dragons seems to work well for raptors. Oh - the opposable thumbs on the foreclaws - a very handy deviation from the standard feral form! I would do the same.
I beg you to do more raptors in the future. ^..^ I will most likely be commissioning you some time... when I decide what I want.

Drawing a similar pose isn't anything to be ashamed of! Yours is still original - it's more dynamic.
I'm always in favor of taking artistic liberties to enhance a creature, especially since this is a world of fantasy we thrive in. I know some people get really pedantic about these things.. If a real deinonychus was fully feathered, had shorter legs and no thumbs, does it matter? Not really. It's the beauty that matters.
Have you never taken commissions? I'm shocked! I'm sure there will be a demand for your reptiles if you decide to.
