During the week that my laptop was gone, I decided to pick up a large canvas and paint. This canvas is about 5 feet tall, and 3.5 feet wide or so.
Its still unfinished, but I don't see myself finishing it any time soon.. so I may as well post what it looks like now.

I'm can assume what everything in this can be. But I'm afraid I might offend you if I were to do so.
The piece is very well worth the time spent on the creation of such a calming piece, and you should be very proud of yourself for doing it.
I especially like how you blended the lighting of the gold/yellowish parts with the deep soothing hues of blue.
Like I said, it's not every day that an artist like you can post something like this. (I'm assuming that you've done something like this before)
I'm actually surprised that no one but me (yet), has said anything about it. It just JUMPS!! out at me with the feeling it emits.

What inspired this?
