A great indicator that the property was being utilized as SWAT training territory. The door had very clearly been breached the hardcore way.
First time I visited this building was in 2008. It was in a lot better shape back then. Like watching an old man degrade through the years, a lively spirit at first, then suddenly broken and hollow. This building had working lights, stocked libraries, medical supplies, it looked like someone had just pulled the fire alarm and everyone left for 10 minutes, waiting to come back in. Now, after SWAT and scrappers and plain old punk kids, it's a fragment of its former awesome presence.

Such a shame that beautiful places like this are abused and ruined over time. One of my local places is rumored to have had U.S. marines training in one of the buildings - many of the doors from what I've heard are kicked in or totally ripped off the hinges in odd ways that most scrappers couldn't manage, similar to your door here.
