Yay Tuna drawings!
It's the eyes, the bigger they get the younger a character seems. That's because our eyes don't change size as we grow our bodies get larger around them. I can see the perspective you were going for but the head is also probably what's causing the de-aging process.
Poor tuna, gonna be a kitten again soon.
