From early 2004, a conceptual sketch of a lion or other 'big cat'. It was intended to be a different character depicted as a lion, but in the end I ended up liking the original concept sketch the best, far better than it was when finished.

And, I drew it completely without references to look at. Just imagination, memory, practice and some skill.
