Don't worry, it's perfectly safe. Just a glob of goo from an Inquisi's liquid launcher. XD He won't be able to break free from it, but the owner of the launcher can dismiss it at any time. It's "smart goo", so it won't stick to his fur. :3

A few people have said I'm good at worldbuilding. XD I honestly don't know what I'm doing half the time, I think of something, go "Yeah, that's good" and throw it in. If that's the best way to build a world, then I guess it works. XD

Also, nanomachines. I handwave a lot of things with nanomachines. On the sliding scale of Soft to Hard sci-fi, ITS is way over on the soft end. XD

generally as long as you can handwave with SOMETHING that isn't 'magic' it's good to go.

like the AI system's projection? i handwaved with nanomachines too. because it'd be rediculous to design a system meant to accompany users but restricted to where cameras are present. so i just reasoned there were nanomachine projectors all over the platform, always working.

XD I actually haven't figured out the entirety of how Chaz and the other GELFs (and people with the Artificial Sustenance mod) can actually keep functioning without food, only that nanomachines are involved somehow. Although when you asked me if the GELFs photosynthesize, I thought that was a pretty cool idea, so I figure that could work. XD

That's the other way I do my worldbuilding, if someone asks me a question that can be summed up as "Would a character use <x idea>" or "Does society <y idea>" or so on. Basically, if the question they ask has an idea in it that I like, I'll say "Yep, that works!". Which can roughly be translated to "Yes, that's how it's been ever since you gave me that good idea right now" XD

You know, alternatively, maybe they have some sort of organic induction coils inside themselves. They could gain energy just by standing in an oscillating magnetic field, possibly provided by some special set-up, which powers some reactor that makes glucose.

Yeah, I'm fond of nanorobots too. I actually have a weapon written out that is just a blob of nanorobots that goes around tearing stuff up.

Your "Goo Period" is causing me to remember when I stepped on some chewing gum in a parking lot( on a very hot day, no less!) and it got transferred to my brake pedal.

It was more distracting than a talkative passenger who waves their hands around alot.
