"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you,
happy birthday deeear wolfie. . ." <Smooch,
lick, snuggle> Wow, that bunny's giving her
husband quite the treatment.
A birthday on Valentine's Day? And married
to *her*? That may be the luckiest wolf on
the planet.
(No luckier than me for thinking of it. Oooo, easy one. :- ) )

Wolf birthday! Yea! It’s time to party! Squee!!
His brothers and I blow it up sky-high.
(Yes, yes, a fantasy: four wolves and me.
You’ve had it too, admit it. Be not shy.)
On this romantic day too. My, what luck.
The perfect excuse to dress in hot red.
Bunny delight: that’s me. I have to duck
Past wagging tails, in eyes a word unsaid.
But great parties: just icing on the cake.
Later when red comes off, ah, then we prove
How one year’s age has only served to make
It better, all our hearts in one night’s love.
We save some cake, in icing ‘I love you.’
Bit messy, where and how it’s eaten? True.

Thank you. Something in me likes sonnets; v. compact, no margin for error. It's
either right or it's wrong. Poetic 'short stories' IMHO, and you either fit your
idea inside the boundaries or you don't.
Seems I've managed to fit in a wolf and a bunny. Cool. I could be at
this for a while. :- )

Thank you. Oh yah, Valentines Day, which made me sweat. The Thursday Prompt was 'I love you.'
That's dialog. How the %#@%& do I crowbar that into a sonnet? Ping! I got it. Let's pull a
wolf birthday outta the hat.
And add some erotic spice. This *is* a married wolf and a bunny, after all. :- )

I as well will leave a comment on this last entry that will encompass all the Sonnets in this series.
A very nice collection you shared with us here. The love and affection between your two characters is highlighted in every verse, and you show it in a complimentary and low-key way that makes one feel a bond with the characters that is in its self heartwarming and content.
Very inspiring and thoughtful collection. Look forward to catching up on past Sonnets and awaiting the arrival of future.
Oh, silly me! I must've put the confetti in the oven and the cake in the confetti cannon! Again! XD

Very much pleased you like. If these puppies are building a fanbase, very much great.
The idea is just let the characters deliver the sonnet, alternating between
wolf and bunny. What they say isn't planned, per se; depends on what the
Thursday Prompt tosses up.
Or the word I pluck at random out of the dictionary. The two kiss sonnets
came from that.
This is starting to get ambitious. Can I make it to 50? Sure. Can I get to
100? Uhhh... Can I get to *150?* That's where Shakespeare stopped.
We shall see. Yesss, we shall see. (<Giggle!> <Yelp!>)*
