I also agree with that last statement. It could be said that the residents are just forgetting all about the mess for the festival, but it appears as if they always held up the attitude practically 24/7.

Well if SD daemons follow with the aspects of other daemons in mythology and legend (including my fursona :D) then they are not evil or sinister, but hedonistic. perhaps the serenity of Medius is what they desire. Unlike the others who probably desire an angel brand stress ball.
